Our Story

The Model A Story

Model A Construction is owned and operated by Steven and Amanda. Steven has spent over 25 years working in all phases of construction — from footings and foundations to framing, concrete, and finish work. Amanda served over 7 years in the U.S. Army, including combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Together, they combine deep trade experience with military discipline and accountability to deliver a standard most contractors simply can't match.

As a full-service general contractor, Steven and Amanda handle everything — land planning, permits, blueprints, footing and foundation, full structural build, concrete work, and all finish work. One standard. Start to finish.

Model A also performs residential and commercial concrete work and takes on state contracting work. As a licensed SDVOSB and WOSB, they are registered and eligible for state and government construction projects across Michigan.
